When we started homeschooling over 23 years ago, I never would have imagined what kind of results taking an unhurried approach to homeschooling would yield. I can tell you now that it was one of the best decisions we ever made!
Most of our kids are adults now and every one of them is grateful for the time we gave them to just be kids while at the same time slowly shouldering them with more responsibilities.
Kids are NOT adults and the stresses of adulthood shouldn’t be felt by children whose little bodies and brains are going through so many developmental stages. A healthy childhood IS the foundation for higher learning.
As parents, we have a responsibility to protect our children from things they are not ready for. Every child has their own internal clock for learning and homeschooling gives us the opportunity to be tuned into that and adjust our kids’ education accordingly.
The rub comes in when we feel like we are not doing enough or doing the “right” things. Really, though it comes down to feeling confidence and assurance that we are doing right by our kids.

This course will start September 6th and end November 29th! You will be able to access the first week’s workshop that day and re watch any of the posted workshops as many times as you want over the course of the 12 weeks.
At the end of the 12 weeks,, I will be asking for feedback to find out ways to make this course even more effective.
